Travel distance is up to the contracted swim instructor. With the cities and zip codes selected in the swim instructor profile, Swim Cow will launch digital marketing campaigns  to find swimmers.

While Swim Cow does not require the use of any equipment, a retail portal is available with discounted, top-quality supplies and logo gear. 

Swim Cow is a resource for independent swim instructors to connect with customers in their area. As a contractor, if additional training is desired, instructors are advised to join a class or program to gain more experience and expertise. Swim Cow does not have a training program.

There are no sign-up fees to join the Swim Cow team, however, you are required to be listed on the Swim Cow insurance policy and to pay an annual premium for coverage. The current premium is $23.60 and it will be deducted from the first invoice amount you submit to Swim Cow. Instructors are required to provide their own uniforms, equipment and supplies. A retail portal is available for discounted logo rash guards and swim equipment for your convenience.

Swim Cow does not offer a curriculum. Each instructor teaches their own lesson plans and caters to the needs of the customer. 

Instructors are not required to take jobs outside of the requested travel radius. If it becomes a persistent issue, customer needs will be assessed and Swim Cow may consider this option. 

The only way Swim Cow would remove an instructor from a job would be at the request of the customer. If  customers need to change times or days, the assigned instructor is contacted first to accommodate the change before offering the job to another instructor. 

Because Swim Cow instructors are entering the homes of customers, homeowners cannot be required to wear masks. If this is an instructor concern or preference, you are encouraged to put your requests on your Swim Cow profile. There, customers will be able to see personal requirements, and can agree to have you as a swim instructor based on your rules. Extra precautions may even be a selling point to many customers.

The number of customers served up to instructors will depend on:

• available work hours
• allowable travel distance

Instructor requests dictate the amount of business provided by Swim Cow. Note that to grow a clientele, flexibility is key. If there is more opportunity outside requested times and hours, Swim Cow will notify all contracted swim instructors in the affected areas.
